Nana's Minestrone

1 Cup Cooked Macaroni
1 tsp Olive Oil
1/4 lb Bacon, chopped
1 tsp Parsley, chopped
1/2 Clove Garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1 T Tomato Paste
2 Stalks Celery, chopped
2 Carrots, sliced
2 Potatoes, chunked
1 Can Kidney Beans
1 Can Chick Peas
1.5 Quart Chicken Stock
1/2 Cup Water

- Brown oil, bacon, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper
- Add tomato paste diluted with one cup water
- Simmer 5 minutes
- Add vegetables and stock
- Boil gently 45 minutes
- Add cooked macaroni
- Cook 10 minutes
